No. Builders and trades can answer each step from a link in an email or text. They can create a free account if they’d rather see everything in one place.

You agree the stages and their prices with your builder, from the quote or contract. When a stage is finished, they mark it done, you approve it (or hold it back with a reason) and pay, and they confirm the money arrived. Each step goes on the record with who did it and when.

Record the payment as cash. When your builder confirms they received it, that confirmation is your receipt. You can add a photo of a handwritten receipt too.

Only the homeowners on the project. Builders and trades never see it. Each builder or trade sees only their own prices and payments, not anyone else’s.

Every step, payment, document and photo, in order, with who did it and when. Entries can’t be changed or deleted. When the project is finished you seal it and get a verification code that anyone, such as a buyer’s solicitor, can check.
